One thing that Jess and I got to do on our recent trip was to play. Simply play! It was glorious! One way that this manifested itself was in the form of insane roller coasters. We spent one afternoon in Tampa at Busch Gardens. The park’s crown jewel is a brand new ride called Sheikra! It was CRAZY! At 200 ft., it is the tallest dive coaster in the world. My wife and I just got back from a vacation celebrating 10 years of marriage! It was WONDERFUL! We were in Orlando, FL. It was a wonderful weekend last week, as we worshipped and learned at Faith Quest. We learned something new and different. The theme this year revolved around marriage. Well, Barry Bonds did it. He broke a record that was one time thought unreachable. And yes, ESPN has given it decent coverage, but there has not been the media hoopla that you would expect. Unless you live in a cave, you know why. It is widely accepted (though not fully proven) that Barry Bonds has enhanced his performance using steroids. As such it is considered a “tainted record”.
