| Charles Hugo Anderson was born April 7, 1950 in Los Angeles, CA and grew up in Southern California. He has been active in sales throughout his life-long career. He has specialized in representing food and dairy companies. He has a great love for people. He has a gregarious outlook on life and loves to be traveling among the businesses. He is a golf enthusiast. He enjoys keeping his house and yards in good maintenance. With his wife, Becky, he is avid in entertaining frequent guests and is a BBQ king.
Charlie met Becky in a bank in Southern California where she was as a teller. They were married in Downey. They, and their three children, came to Medford from Redding, CA in 1989, placing their membership at West Main. The teen years of their three children were spent at West Main: Kellie, married to Scott Noble, with a daughter, and living in Portland, Bryan, living in Colorado and Kevin, married to Briana, and living in Medford. Charlie was baptized in 1973 in Downey. He was active in the church in Redding, CA, serving as a deacon (1985-1989). At West Main he served as a deacon (1992-1999). He became an elder in 1999. Among other activities, he coordinates the janitorial and facility care and shares in the coordination of the visitation efforts. Charlie has endeared himself to the West Main family because of his warmth, humor, enthusiasm, servant spirit and boundless energy in everything he does. |
