The purpose of our James 2 program is to care for people in need. The need may be food, money, or just spiritual uplifting. The ministry is patterned after the work discussed in the second chapter of James.

The ministry maintains a food bank for those in need. Members in need or people who approach the church for help are given food from the bank. The ministry operates under a budget determined by the elders.

The World Bible School is a teaching mission work through the medium of Bible correspondence lessons to fulfill the command of Matthew 28:19-20 to go into all the world and teach the gospel.

Individual teachers send lessons to students throughout the world, although most of the students of West Main WBS teachers have been in Africa.

The student completes the lesson then returns the lesson to the teacher. The teacher corrects the lesson and returns it to the student, also enclosing the next lesson in the series. Teachers also answer any Bible questions that are asked (help is always available through the ministry leader).
